I purchased my GSX-S750 on September 29th of 2015. I actually was not planning on purchasing a new cycle that day but I stopped in the shop after looking at a new mountain bike across the street. When I walked in my salesman told me they had some great deals going on. I then told him I was looking at something just to get around town and have some fun on. I used to ride sport bikes but my 44 year old frame was looking for something that still was a little sporty but more comfortable. I had already been looking at the GSX-S1000 and actually was thinking of making a purchase the next year. I really was looking for something with a small note, cheap insurance and a nice look to it. I love my toys and often spend too much money funding my hobbies. I was determined to keep the expense of a cycle down to a minimum. He suggested I consider the 750 which was $1000 off at the time. He said you can use the $1000 off as a down payment, set you up with 2.9% financing, and we can set your first payment up for November 14th! Jackpot!!! Done deal, Papers signed! I immediately began thinking of ideas for my build. I had the bike delivered to my apartment the next week and put that bad boy right in my kitchen to start the winter build.!!!!!!! |

I started purchasing parts pretty fast and was determined to save money by doing most of the installation myself. That was the main reason I parked it in my kitchen for the winter. My goals for the project were to: 1. Improve performance: This bike is capable of producing some pretty decent HP/ Braking needs Improving 2. Improve appearance: This bike looks good and has the potential to look great. 3. Turn my Suzuki into one of the hottest naked bikes on the street!!!!! It's very doable with this bike. It has great lines and if you look at it from the tank back it looks just like a sport bike. I just started buying and I'm an excellent moder so i know somewhere down the line my projects just come together. These are some of the parts I started out with. I figured my ideals would grow as I started putting parts on |

I started cleaning up the lines of the bike and adding the fork mounted turn signals, Yosh Fender eliminator and an LED rear light with integrated turn signals. Removing the stock mirrors, turn signals, and fender helped to really clean up the lines and also cut significant weight from the bike! |

I hated the color of the stock handlebars and cant for the life of me understand why Suzuki didn't go with black. Black would have matched both color schemes and looked so much better. While I was at it I threw on some new grips and put on some bar end mirrors. I'm still experimenting with the mirrors and have taken them off for a new idea though. I also added some shorty levers that added a nice touch Attachments:

Next was putting on the standard performance mods K&N filter, slip on and PC5. And after my dreams of an Akrapovic header fell apart from the mistake they and Revzilla made I went ahead and ordered my MGP moto gp slip on. Attachments:

I added the carbon fiber accents. I only purchased 4 pieces because I want this bike to look more like special edition rather than a carbon bike. I figured if I replaced the grey pieces it would be the perfect touch. Only problem was once I did it my exhaust stuck out like sore thumb. And for anyone looking to try this the front chin under the head light will not fit properly, I broke mine!!!!!!!! I ended up plasti dipping the stock piece. |

I needed to fix this exhaust but I had a problem. The MGP comes in 2 configurations regular tip with carbon can and GP tip with stainless can. And I hate any exhaust that has a regular tip! Not a problem for me as I figured I could just call Hot Bodies and have them send me a carbon canister. WRONG!!!!! Hot Bodies gets these things from Italy and replacement parts are not available. The operations manager Rick asked what I needed the carbon canister for and I explained my dilemma. This immediately sparked interest over at Hot Bodies and they reached out to the R&D department that had a new canister they were using to come up with ideas. They shipped it out and I promised that i would send them some pictures after I swapped them out. They told me that this could possibly be their next conficuration and sent me some free gear for the ideal. The guys over there at Hot Bodies are awesome! |

Now the rear sets are bothering me and they look like shiznit! The rider pegs are hideous and the aluminum color just kills my MAD MAX look. I was going to buy some rear sets but my buddy talked me out of it because I would be sacrificing comfort. I went ahead and had the factory rear sets powder coated flat black and added some performance pegs. The stock rider pegs are over a pound each. getting rid of them was a great weight savings. While at it I went head and had the passenger pegs powder coated as well. it looks killer in all black |
