So far a double gasket at the head to adjust for clearances and a small bracket hanger to help with support. There will be more once the can gets here. I will keep it posted

I had ordered the Akra header from revzilla as well. As a matter of a fact I was the customer who discovered it wouldn't work. The day I got it I called because all the parts had gsxr 600 stickers on them. The tech called akra and told me there was a mistake and refunded my cash. They relisted the part on Revzilla the same day. They refunded my money and let me keep the $30 in revzilla cash. I built my bike without replacing the header. The only other part that didn't fit were the chinese shorties I ordered. I haven't ordered new ones because I want to get the right in ones next time. Anyone who knows please chime in. I will post pictures of my build tomorrow. Its pretty sick I think.

I managed to get the gsxr pipe to fit, doubled the header gaskets, created a bracket for support and made a heat shield do to the proximity of the header pipe to the oil pan. I will post pictures also once it's complete. This will be my Christmas present to myself

Thats great you got it to fit. That mistake turned me off so much I went in a totally different direction. I have the Hot Bodies growler slip on muffler with the stainless Moto Gp can. Im going to get the Arrow header. My project is looking good. All I have left to buy is the header, shorty levers, and frame sliders. Everything else is already installed on the bike

Everything else is already installed on the bike I am disappointed in what is available for our bikes at this point. According to manufacturers, there just isn't enough demand for aftermarket accessories for our bike. I can tell you that other than a few items, I have had to make everything custom. Sucks and is more expensive

You would be surprised how much stuff from the GSR750 fits. So far I have GSR shorty levers, GSR taillight with integrated turn signals and GSR exhaust servo delete for my exhaust project.

There aren't many parts for out our bikes in the states yet. I'm not sure why, whether it's sales based or because it's a "standard" model.

The stuff I ordered off amazon shipped in the states. My taillight came from somewhere in Asia but it was free shipping haha

I always end up ordering parts for the gsr750. Shipping takes a bit and is a little pricy but there are so many more options over seas.

Nearing the end of the build and just for a sneek peek, we got 122+ horses at the rear wheel. Could have gotten more by upping the rpm limit, but i am playing safe based for now. What I am really interested in is the weight savings vs. Hp gain. Once complete I am going to weigh the bike. I am guessing at at least a 20 lb loss overall
