Those look great and are the same shape I'm looking for. They kinda look like CRGs. How did you remove bar ends?

I am installing Bar-End Mirrors this weekend and would like to keep the stock weights. I am also very interested in how you installed these as I've seen on this forum that they are a PITA...

I replaced the factory screws with long stainless cap screws. Picked these up on Amazon for $22.
I made videos, just have to put it all together, I'll do that tonight for you guys and post it

Thanks for the video. I don't have access to my bike otherwise I would have just taken it apart to see for myself  . Seemed much simpler than others were making it out to be (boring out and re-taping). |

It was more complicated than I expected. I purchased the CRG hindsight lanesplitter mirrors. I wanted to reuse the factory bar end weights so I did not purchase the Billet adapter which also would not have worked and would have required boring out to mount.
The factory bar end weights have an internal piece that is press fit. I had to take a hammer to it and got it to move out 1/4-1/2". This was enough gap to mount the mirrors on to and also not interfere with the throttle.

Hey ashes quick question where did you find those bolts you used I cant find any long enough tried hardware stores and dealer and nothing close to right I know you said you just had them was hoping you remember where you picked them up.
