Based on the manufactures picture, it look like it slides inside. I can't remember with mine but maybe the piece inside the original exhaust needs removed

Solved it! s31.postimg.org/tyiufdscb/20160420_173717_resized.jpgAll that was needed was some violence delivered via hammer and screwdriver to get the gasket off from the pipe, i damaged it slightly but i can probably still use it if i ever want to put the stock muffler back on. Thanks anyway!

In the future use a flat head screw driver and slide it between the gasket and the lip that is on there and twist. all you need to do is to get that gasket moving and it will slide off.
