Looking to change my stock sprockets and chain out on my 2015 750. I have been looking at starting out with a simple 520 kit which goes -1 on the front down to a 16t. Has anyone done this yet and if so how much difference was there in the acceleration?

I went to a 16t front sprocket on my '18. Wasn't as big of a change as I've experienced on other bikes but it was actually the perfect amount of extra low-down acceleration in my opinion. Still very comfortable at highway speeds. The final drive is different by a hair on the '15-16 bikes vs. '18 and up (there was no '17 in the USA):
15-16 bikes have 17t front sprocket, 42t rear sprocket 18+ bikes have 17t front sprocket, 43t rear sprocket
So, if you are doing chain and sprocket, I might recommend you go with a 16t front sprocket and a 44t rear sprocket for a good bump in acceleration. How many miles on your current chain and sprockets?

How many miles on your current chain and sprockets? So the bike is still drivable on the highway? I'm thinking of swapping mine to a 16t, but unsure still (my bikes an 18'). Got a particular sprocket I should use? There are so many brands lol

There are so many brands lol Most definitely still rideable. -1 up front doesn't change gearing that much. And yes, you should definitely use JTF520.16RB - this one has the rubber vibration dampening insert just like stock so it doesn't get any louder.
