Anyone's help on this would be greatly appreciated. My bike has 490 miles on it and I noticed a few days ago my radiator looks as if coolant has been sprayed onto the shrouds. I checked for leaks everywhere and can't find any and there is no coolant on any other part of the bike except the face of the radiator. The coolant is full and I haven't riden the bike hard at all due to the break in period. Any ideas?

I would run it back to the dealer. If it's on the shrouds it might actually be the radiator.

I'm going to look over everything again today and if nothing pops up I'll run it back to the dealer. It's just wierd because none of the hoses show signs of leaking and it doesn't leak or anything when the bikes off.

I took the cap off today and the coolant immediately over flowed so took all the excess coolant out and cleaned up the cap. Rode it today and doesn't seem to be leaking anymore. Hope it stays that way ?

You may need a new cap. I would check the sealing surface on the radiator also. A radiator cap is a two way valve, and only allows the coolant in and out of the cooling system through the reservoir port. It should never come from the radiator to cap sealing area.

Took it to the dealer to have it looked at. The guy said "it's just condensation, if it was a coolant leak it would be spraying everywhere and it would be blue. so it's fine". So I showed him the "water marks" spread throughout the side of the bike and he said that it's also just water marks. This all would be fine with me except for the fact that I've had 5 different bikes and never had any kind of liquid on the face of the radiator. Check out this picture of "water".

That's allot of "condensation". If yours is doing it then ours should be. Have you tasted it yet?
