I played around with a few different slip-ons before ultimately going with the Akrapovic Megaphone. It's titanium, so it's extremely light compared to the stock exhaust. The shape/style isn't for everyone, but to my eye, it actually goes with the natural flow/lines of the bike the best. It does have a removable baffle if you're into that kind of thing, but I currently and have always ran it without the baffle because the bark it produces when you twist the throttle is what rustles my jimmies. It can be very tame when you're not really hammering on the throttle (as to not piss off neighbors) but my God, when you open it up, it's the most blissful thing I've ever heard. I specifically did not want that traditional high-whine sound - I was going for something that had more grunt/bark/low rumble at an idle kind of deal, and this did it for me and more. A buddy of mine got the M4 the same time I picked up the Megaphone and it has a nice low note right out of the box, but it also sounds (to me) like someone stuck a full 52 count deck of cards in the bike spokes - it's almost a slapping sound than anything else. Could just be my ears, but it wasn't for me. Don't know if this helps, but it's fun to talk about motorcycles in Wisconsin when it's 13 degrees outside! (Farenheit, for our friends across the pond.) You have this one? The skinny pipe? www.akrapovic.com/en/moto/product/749/Suzuki/GSX-S-750/2016/Slip-On-Line-Titanium?brandId=37&modelId=717&yearId=4108

I know your pain. I got a look at mine while fixing a block heater to my tired subie. Northern IL is in for a rough week.

I'm considering just going with either the Alpha T or the R77 can which I can get in the black carbon to match the bike doing what chitolove recommended about the mid pipe. I don't mind the sound of either I just don't want the ear fatigue after riding for several hours like I did with my past Dekelvic (which I loved anyway). But it was too much bass even on my Vulcan S.

I love my M4, I don't think the strap is much of a big deal as it is made from carbon fiber and blends in nicely with the carbon fiber can. It does NOT come with a db killer or a silencer. How ever at idle and low revs under 4k it is not neighbor disturbing. It has a very low tone to it. I would have to disagree with gixxis85 with it sounding like a 52 deck of cards in the spokes. At idle it has a deep tone like you feel it in your chest not in your ears. Also not sure if this matters but M4 is based out of texas and everything is made in house.
Also here is a video of mine doing just a 2nd gear pull keep in mind full face helmet on and mic is inside helmet with visor closed. So you can hear how the tone changes in higher revs.

Well, i picked up the Alpha T and installed it 2 days ago. What a great sounding can. I haven't been able to take it out on the road as the weather here in Michigan isn't really cooperating. Today i pulled the DB killer and started it.... Wow!! Now that is a great sound for this bike. I am deciding though if i want to run with the DB killer in like you suggested hansum. I've got time thanks to the weather but i'm thrilled with my choice, either way i run it the sound is good and doesn't seem to fatigue the ears.
Thanks all for the suggestions and the help.

The sound is awesome. The best sounding bike ever in my opinion. Hearing it roar thru the valleys is incredible. Wait until you hear it over 6500 rpm’s!

I have the Alpha Signature with the baffled removed, I think it's excellent. Congrats!

Congratulations. Putting the Alpha on after running stock was like getting a new bike. It sounds great and looks great. It's nice to have such an easily removable baffle so you can decide how much of the joy of your 750 you want to share with bystanders.
