So after deciding I wasn’t going to settle with the crappy bars on the 2015 and I also wanted to keep my 2 inch risers , I rerouted all the cables and brake lines etc. behind the triple clamp along with running the throttle cables over the frame and under the tank I now have enough room to run my risers and a set of trackside bars with the cr high bend and still turn the bars lock to lock and still have slack in the cables I searched and researched and couldn’t find any info so I figured I’d make a post about it lol

Switch to desktop mode on the bottom of the page. I use image size app to shrink my pics.

Cool. Are you moving towards stunting on the bike or just wanted something taller?
This is only my second bike so I don't have experience with better bars to realize that these aren't good for some people.

I broke my wrist a few years ago and it won’t tolerate much weight plus the stock bars are very narrow compared to other nakeds a wider bar makes for better control and comfort imo

So I ran the interstate yesterday and holy cow the bike feels like a supermoto lol the wider bars make it a lot more twitchy in the corners not to mention the rise and pull back took some weight off the front end. I rolled them back on the risers a bit last night and rode to work and the bike got even more twitchy I could definitely see a comfort difference though I felt like a I could really soak up miles on a long run. The twitchy affect has me worried a bit I may get a shorter set of risers and just play with heights and I may drop the bars to stock height and see how that feels handling wise worse case depending on the riding I’m gonna do on a particular day I may just have to adjust the setup but it’s pretty nice to be able to set the same bike up for different riding styles vs having 2-3 bikes for different purposes like I used to do lol although a dual sport is still on my list of wants and regrets for selling I’m gonna play with it some more and see what I like best and I’ll keep this thread updated

Do you have a link or name of the Bars and risers that you are using in this mod? I like the height it adds. Looks like it would be a very comfortable riding position

So then I think your bars are 7/8 inch all the way across, right? Pretty sure the 2015/16 bars don't taper up to 1.10"
