Hello, I am having a tough time trying to remove the bar end inserts on my 2018 GSX-S750. I want to install bar end mirrors that do not fit over the factory bar ends. I have removed the bar end weights but I am not being able to remove the insert that is inside the handlebar (where the bar end weight screws into). I have tried wd-40 and also putting the screw half-way through the insert and hammering the screw, but this has not helped. I would greatly appreciate if the experts here can weigh-in with their suggestions and tips.

You are done. Screw your mirrors in using M6 bolts. Or get the replacement barends from Rhino Moto. They have a model with a step down for clamping on bar end mirrors.

Those inserts are not removable. My mirrors came with their own adapters that screwed into the insert.

They are quite nice and have sliders. The only drawback is limited movement of the mirror arms because of the slider sticking out.
