I've been looking at a lot of bikes that come full naked or fared. I've been thinking about how much I miss the sporty look of my CBR500R but the comfort and convenience of it not being a full-on sport bike.
I also, really, really love my S750 but I can't help but think of how much MORE I'd love it if it were a fared bike like the GSX-S1000F. It's a different kind of sport bike look but it's not a bad look and I think I'd love my 750 a tad more with that kind of look on it.
Now it's not to say they won't have a 2016 model come out, and I wouldn't trade-in anytime soon because this bike is full of potential and I've got plans for it. But if they had a 750F available when I was shopping for a new bike, I probably would have got it instead of the naked. So why don't I get the 1000F if I like it so much? Because anything over 750CC gets raped for insurance where my 750 is in the same bracket as my 500R was, so my price didn't change at all.
Do you guys think Suzuki will bring one out? What are your feelings about the fared version of the S1000? And I really want to try a quick shifter lol. (Just watched the Tuono V4 1100 review)

The riding position is my biggest issue. I'm not a fan of laying down on the tank. Now if they had a 1000 when I bought mine, I would have bought it instead. Traction control would be nice when wanted. It probably would have helped a couple of us once already.

I actually enjoy the nekkid bikes. IMHO the fairings take away the sensation of speed and with cost of tickets continually going up, I don't need to go excess often enough to justify a fairing. I also look at the nekkid bikes as more attractive by showing all the workings of the bike and not covering them up. Then there is the riding position as ashes mentioned

The riding positions of the 1000F is actually more relaxed than the S750, I was trying to find comparison data for the S1000 and the S1000F but they don't have a listing for the naked version on the site.

I rode both the naked and faired version of the gixxus1k. Somehow, the faired version felt less sportbikey and more boaty. As far as a 750F, I don't think the naked is selling enough to constitute another version.

I chose the 750 because I'm old and rode the original 85 750. I wanted that power and an upright seat, I'm 56 years old now and ride lots and the back can't take a true GSXR on longer rides. I'd love a full fairing for touring but I found parts in Europe to make it a one of a kind over here. Can't get pics on here but my Avatar shows my bike.

Hey madman, madman She looks good! That belly pan is nice. I like the way the windshield doesn't stick up obnoxiously, it's lines blend in, it looks like it belongs on the bike.

Thanks, the parts are Ermax brand they are made for the bike, the windshield is about 3 inches taller which really helps when touring, not fighting the headwind at speed. Solo seat cover adds a small amount of space under the rear seat as well. Lower cowling fits snug and has metal brackets rubber mounted, zero vibes.

Do the blues match? I wanted to pick the solo seat up, but was worried about the color match.

Yes, you can choose which blue and white combo, make sure you pick north American one. The color match is perfect. The correct color is YWW/YSF this is 2015 gsx-s750z blue/white.
