I'm not sure if it's me or if there is something wrong with the bike, but when revving up to between 6-8k and going into 3rd some times it won't shift, until I release the clutch and try again for it to go into 3rd gear! Then shifting into higher gears is smooth, it's just the 3rd!!!! For now, it looks random, because sometime it happens and sometimes it doesn't! Shifting under 6K doesn't seem to trigger the problem and it goes into 3rd smoothly.
This happens while riding on a warm engine, not at cold starts or anything like that, and the bike is still under 1000 miles though.
Did anyone experience anything like that? Any idea what could be causing this?

Are all your clutch cables tight? No free play? Check and make sure your cable is tight on the engine side mine was loose from the dealer. Below is a pic posted of where i am talking about.

I had the same problem when the bike was under 1000mi. It would seem to happen at any rpm but I think my case was rider error. Oddly enough I don't have those same problems at 4000mi.

Same thing use to happen to my GSXR750. Try adjusting the gear shifter.
