I noticed since I took the baffle out of my exhaust that I'm sluggish when starting off now or the sound is throwing me off my releasing the clutch, I stalled 3 times today, I'm 43, I've been riding since I was 8 years old, mostly dirt bikes. I don't remember the last time I stalled a bike and I've had this now for 10000km and never stalled. Could the air flow be just totally screwed now because of that? I wouldn't think so. I feel like I have to give it a lot of throttle to get going or maybe its just so much play, but is that something that would go after a while? I've just never experienced this before. Has anyone adjusted the cable? I just found out where it is, but I've never done it before.

Yes, I stalled like a champ before I adjusted it. Now the response off the line and when shifting gears is greatly improved. Just gotta make sure it's not too tight otherwise you will be stunting in the parking lot.

No, airflow is not screwed. You changed exhaust not the airfilter or injectors or fuel pump etc. besides the computer would compensate for it. More than likely you can now "hear" the exhaust and you are giving it less throttle. You can adjust the throttle cable slack. There is 2 cables, one is a pull and the other is a push. Loosen the jam nut "the wheel loooking thingy" then slowly rotate the cable screw which is part of the cable, until you take the slack out of it. Retighten jam nut. Make sure your bike is in neutral when starting. Also you can do this while it's running but becareful.
Hope it helps.

Just as a precaution, after you tighten the cable turn your handle bars full right and left while the bike is idling. If the cable is too tight it will cause a surge in the r.p.m. . It would suck to find out the cable is too tight during a slow turn.

Thanks again guys, I adjusted it but keeping a little pressure on on the throttle just so I could feel it turning as I was turning the nut, I have it in a place that feels better but I haven't taken it out yet, maybe tonight.

Taking off from a stop, shifting, and turning are going to be a lot smoother for you now. You will love it.
