Just got a Pazzo clutch lever to replace stock. Now, I can't get the bike to move in 1st gear. When I let out the clutch completely the bike doesn't stall. Also, when in 1st gear with the bike off, I can still roll it as if the clutch was squeezed. Did I break something?

Maybe the cable is out of adjustment?

Those look a lot like my ride it levers. Did you see this video I did on my levers. www.gsxs.org/thread/388/ride-levers I still think you might have got the clutch cable out of wack somehow.

Yeah I watched your video before I did the lever. I screwed up by also adjusting the cable for slack. I followed the directions in the service manual to take slack out of the clutch cable and the directions were unclear, at least to me. I was down in the damn sprocket cover as per the directions. I tried repeating the process over multiple times but am not thinking clearly and must be missing something. Sometimes, upon releasing the clutch with the motor running, the bike would start to rev ever so slightly but did not pull at all.

Great now I gotta get this thing towed 30 miles away. What a nightmare.

That sucks kinda feel like you went a bit far, ended up in the sprocket cover? I would really like to know what the beer count was before and after. Sorry just trying to lighten up your mood. I wish i could have helped you a bit more.

Yeah, it's part of the process to get in there to release the slack or something? I wish I could say I was hammered before and after but I was sober and tired after a long day. I'm sure it's something I could fix but at this point, I have a spring coming out of the adjuster screw and probably have screwed up that rod that pushes against the clutch. Instead of doing further damage I figure getting it towed to the shop is the better move. There's too many variables than I feel comfortable with sorting out. Is the new clutch lever manufactured to correct tolerances? Am I supposed to be pulling the cable while doing adjustments? Am I overtightening the rod? Really I need to watch someone do it once.

Bummer bud. I hope it's something quick and easy.
