I have yhe power commander v ele shifter 8 inch stretch only reached 116 in the 1/4 11.70 I need to go faster the book said it will do 119 in the1/4 dry no eweight

You have a stretched GSXS with a Power Commander and quick shifter. Did you tune the power commander for the bike? You're missing a lot of information, and grammar.

You need air filter/ airbox mod, full exhaust and a real time tune to get more.

Or perhaps the 8" stretch is actually slowing you down due to friction/added weight. Are your 60 ft times looking good? 1/8 mile times? If you're only seeing the difference at the finish maybe that proves the stretch could be hurting your top end.

Not all engines are built the same or broke in the same. Your not far off so I would say its tune or reaction time. Keep adjusting little things. Not sure your experience level but make sure you are not running a full tank of gas. Just a splash for what you need for the run. 3mph Could be getting lost off the start not the top end.
