So I think my clutch is slipping... I was out riding was in third gear made a hard pull and the rpm went up. But the bike didn't feel like it was pulling as hard. Any ideas?

Did it do this right after letting out the clutch? Was the engine warm? Were you already in gear? When was the last oil change? Is your oil level good?

Pretty sure it friction plates after a lot of research. But I'll answer the question to get a second opinion. Only does it while in gear on a hard roll on. Starts about 8k-redline. Yes Engjne is warm. Oil level is good just had an oil change in the last 200-300 miles.

Generally when friction plates go bad or have a burnt plate, common complaint would be, "when letting out the clutch or just after letting out the clutch engine revs but doesn't go." Kinda feels like your spinning your tires, but the tires aren't spinning and power is not getting transferred to the sprocket to turn the chain. More often it would slip right when getting on the power. just my $0.02 Keep updating with what you find.

It feels just like my tire is spinning. But only does it at high rpm. Guessing it's just starting to go out? Either way gonna have them replaced.

When was the last tone you adjusted your cable? Do you use your clutch all of the time while riding? Those rpms are right at our bikes power band, have you done anymore diagnosing yet?
