not sure, have you tried cross-referencing part numbers? I would think that both the 2015,2016 tanks would be the same part number difference would be the color. Just curious what's the reason for a new gas tank?

The 11 and up gsr750 models are identical to ours in every way. The only draw back is international shipping.

GSR model is the same bike as ours overseas, not to be confused with the GSX-R full fairing sport bike.

Yep, sorry Ray... This was a sad revelation for a bunch of us a couple years ago. GSXR parts will not fit our bikes.

Yep, sorry Ray... this was a sad revelation for a bunch of us a couple years ago. GSXR parts will not fit our bikes. .............. so Ebay seems to have a few parts for the bike, and I am still looking .............
I have yet to buy the GSXS .... yet ( I am spending money in my mind trying to decide which bike I want). Is it known what simple stuff like levers and sprockets from the GSXR will bolt up ?? There does not seem to be a lot of aftermarket for this bike unless I am looking in the wrong spots. I know very little about Suzuki ( I have been on Kawi since 98 ) but on know that many model parts swapped back
thank you again for your help

Look up GSR750. That's the model that has been around since 2011 over seas. Same bike different designation.

Revzilla puts together a decent variety of parts for the GSXS when you search by bike. Their techs seem pretty good/quick about answering questions too. I was cross referencing part numbers to find ASV levers for our bike awhile back. Thought I had it down.
Their guys set me straight on that with a Big nope.

According to the Pazzo site, certain years of GSXR-1000 and 600 have compatible levers.

Just found out that a k4 & k5 gsxr750 has the same cylinder head gasket and chain part number as ours...so indirectly, i can assume that the head is a direct fit to our cylinder block...since ive seen some crazy modifications done...maybe this information could trigger someone who would be interested to do a head swap and see what can be achieved from it...bigger valves and higher cam...should be able to get a more 750ish power range...
