So the bikes a touch over a month old. It has 2k on it. I have noticed the last couple day, while it's warming up it starts ticking. Almost sounds like a light lifter tick, or exhaust leak. It's coming from the rear side of the engine on the left top. Has anybody heard this? I'm going to head to the dealer next week.

So I grabbed my chassis ears and went to town. It is the cam tensioner making noise, but only after it warms up on it's stand. If I start it and warm it up level, no noise. When I took it to zuki they said it's perfectly normal.

It could be the CCT is about to "click" into the next notch of cam chain tension and in the mean time the cam chain is *slightly* loose but the chain-slap sound goes away after things warm up and expand. I know my bikes with the auto CCT's would go through a slightly noisier valve train period before all of a sudden getting quieter one day. Whatever it is, I'm sure it isn't' a big deal. It's a tried and true engine with a mild head, I expect the thing to last a loooong time.
