Has anyone around 6 feet tall changed the windscreen, and if so was it an improvement or did the wind buffeting rise up to the helmet area? I did this once before on another bike and my helmet got bounced around more than when the bike was stock.
Thanks!

Found that Givi makes a windscreen for our bike as well. It's kinda pricey at $180 looks clean though. Givi makes good stuff imo. Link: www.giviusa.com/my-motorcycle/suzuki/gsx-s750-16/a3100-specific-screen-detailI have to ride the interstate for about 10 miles everyday for my commute, and in the mornings it's about 45 degrees but 75 in the afternoon on my ride home. I need a little protection at 80mph in the am. Does any one have a expierince with either the puig or powerbronze or givi? Thanks for the input.

At 6'3" I just assumed any and all shields would be too short for me. I've done a 400 mile day with 80% of the ride happening at 85mph+ and it wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be. I never tried in colder temps though.

Depends on the helmet I guess but a bit of wind protection sure would be nice.

I was wearing a joe rocket mesh jacket and that was giving me the most problems. I dropped 50lbs since buying it and the looseness of the jacket had it filling with a little air and choking the piss out of me, haha. I now wear a very form fitting (almost too tight) Alpinestars Warden Air and feel like I cut through the air like a knife in comparison. The incentive to keep in shape is there too because if I gain even 5lbs its not going to fit lol.

I am only about 5'6" down the highway i get a good bit of head shake it seems. Bell qualifier dlx helmet. I don't care for the helmet to much, other than i LOVE the transition lens shield. I got the dealer to throw in the helmet before i signed the papers. The helmet pinches my front cheeks a bit and is noisy. Air flow sucks you don't feel it at all. My old bike i had a HJC and loved it quiet and moved a TON of air with the vents open.
As far as the windscreen goes I called sportbike track gear, and got them to order it for me. I had some store credit and their customer service is TOP NOTCH. I called them monday and it is arriving tomorrow (wendsday) I can't say enough about those guys.
I will do a update as soon as i get it on.

I got the windscreen on today, rode home after work down the interstate a HUGE difference at 80 mph. It is alot less forceful on my chest and head. The windscreen deflects the air onto my upper shoulder area. There is not enough of it to really shake my head around. Overall i am very pleased with it. Only downside is the nose of the screen vibrates on the upper headlight area, and makes a buzzing sound. Looks like a will put a small door seal on it to fix that. Waiting on a microphone for my go pro and i will do a video on it.

Looking at the Ermax also. But what are your general thoughts at any speed, with it compared to stock? Better clean air pocket noticeable? Like the look of the Ermax alot, but looks like mrstamp80's Puig is a little taller while still looking good. Thanks. -Scott

I love mine, there is a HUGE difference over 70 mph. Now i can ride one handed at 80+, before i could not at 80 had to use 2 hands to hold on.
Only downside to the puig, is there is no mounting to the front bottom of the screen. So it makes this buzzing sounds. They supply you with a rubber stopper but it came off on the first ride. So i went to lowes and got a some weather stripping for $5 and used a small piece on the bottom of the screen to stop the buzzing. Installation is a breeze, no cutting or drilling.

Got a deal on the Suzuki screen. Heads up if you're looking, but haven't got one yet...4 holes need to be drilled in the stock screen to mount it. Which screws things up if you don't end up liking it. Leaning towards installing it in next couple of weeks. Will post up once done. -Scott
