So, I have this akrapovic slip on exhaust from my cbr600 f4i that nobody seems to want to buy. I've been thinking about cutting the middle pipe and welding a new one to fit the muffler on my gsxs. Any thoughts?
Does anybody have a akrapovic slip on installed onto there gsxs? If so, could you do some measuring for me? I'd like to know the mid pipe diameter as well as the outlet of the muffler pipe diameter.

Why did you sell it? If you had to guess, how big is the outlet on the muffler?

I have full system now and the header pipe for the system is bigger than the slip on. I think you can find that info online @ akropovic

Can you provide more info on what you have? Akrapovic website only shows 2 slip on units.

Wow that muffler sits back pretty far! The collector is quite large too! That looks very good!
What did you have to tweak?

Well, the system comes in peices held together by multiple Springs, so as it went together you can manipulate the piping to fit. The only issue is the clearance to the oil pan is within a 1/4 of am inch, so they installed a heats held to protect the oil pan from hitting if there was any movement. So far nothing has hit and I have went on uneven gravel roads.

I chatted with you in that thread. Nice stuff!
I've given up,on this idea. I'm trying to find every option for a slip on.
Arrow has a full system, and I'm finding a lot of companies who make stuff

Glad to hear! At the time of my build aftermarket parts were limited!

Nothing to do with exhaust. But I noticed the aftermarket rearset. What brand is that?
