Ash
Pulled the bike outta the garage afterwork, noticed that the remaining clutch lever seems to be on a bit of an angle suggesting it took a wallop.
I disconnect the clutch switch on the handlebars pulled the clutch in & I'm assuming I should have seen continuity across the switch.
Haven't jumpered the contact out yet but I may have found the problem.
Stay tuned....

Outstanding! You are correct, when the switch is applied it closes the circuit.

Guy's thanks for all your help ash especially & rpm for his schematics.
Just jumpered the clutch sw & voila she fired up no problem.
Still not shure if the clutch sw is actually defective or if the whole assembly is bent bad enough where the contact is not fully closing.
I might as well order a whole new assembly & replace the levers while I'm @ it.
Thanks again.

I'm just glad you sorted it out, and didn't have to send it to the stealer to be repaired.
