Just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced a similar issue. The bike has done this since day one and I now have around 800 miles on it.
The bike will shudder in the 2000-1700 rpm range when I am off throttle coasting to a stop in 1st and 2nd gear.
Below or above that rpm range the bike idles fine and feels smooth.
When throttle is applied it will go away. When clutch is pulled in it will go away.
I am wondering if it has to deal with the servo valve and that particular range of rpms.
Any thoughts and comments are appreciated. If no one else on here has had this issue I will be taking it to the dealership.
Thanks and happy riding.

I keep mine above 2500 rpm. The only shutter I get is more like a low rpm vibration while accelerating going around a corner in second. If it ever stops raining I'll try to get mine to do what your describing. I would check your chain tension. It may be loose.

Thanks for the reply.
I normally keep the rpms above 2000 but the few times that I have left it idle down when coasting to a stop it has produced a noticeable shudder.
Just wanted to make sure it was nothing to be concerned about.

I have experienced the same issue. It probably has to do with the end load on deceleration and how the ecu is tuned from the factory.
Injectors turning on and off can do this. It might be because the bike runs lean, and the combination of the exhaust valve. Those are just guesses though.
I have a 2015 with 250 miles on it.

With no exhause valve and the akrapovik muffler mine is rich, people riding behind me always say it smells and looks rich. I get the shudder a little bit also, I also get backfiring every once in a while if it's a hard long decel, even with the pair valves blocked. Hoping it will just go away with a tune.

I thought this was a relatively normal behaviour, my old RX-7 did the same thing a low revs while decelerating. That was typically when I just hit the clutch. I mean 2k revs isn't very high for bikes like ours, and it was low revs on my RX-7 so I think it's just what they do.
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it's not normal but it never triggered a "Oh something is wrong" sense to me.

Thanks for the responses.
I figured it was a common occurrence with these bikes. Just wanted to be sure since it is my first fuel injected bike and its still under warranty.

My bike does the same exact thing, I only have 83 miles on my bike. it only does it like you said in low rpms. once you give it some throttle its a little jerky for another second then goes away. I'm still wondering what is causing this as it is quite aggravating. Please let me know if you figure whats causing the issue. Cheers.

OK just found this thread and confirmed what I thought I was feeling ("shudder"). It does not bother me but had noticed on decel. tires at 35psi. Had me looking to see if pavement was rippled at one point. I now have 800 miles on bike in 3 weeks. I like to try to see how it pulls at low rpms so yea have felt it on decel. I also appreciate the rear end cush drive getting a work out, esp if intentially hamfisting the throttle on-off at low rpm. I definetly do not think there is anything wrong with the bike. I am just messing with it in a way it is not intended to be ridden....

Keep her above 2500 rpm, she'll thank you. Anything below is outside of its usable power range. That's my opinion anyways.

I might be able to answer a few things. A tune doesn't help. It's not the exhaust valve. It's not the pair valve. I've got 6800 miles on my bike and it does it no matter what. I've got the pair and set valve deleted. Pc5 and autotune. I've asked some engine gurus and they say it's a combination of the compression of the engine and our cam profiles. The only way you might get it to stop is setting the idle to 2300 rpm or so. And ya don't want to do that probably.
