Hi Has anyone had a problem where when you release the throttle it will not return to the shut/off position. If when riding you release the throttle and pull in the clutch, the bike just revs untill i turn the throttle back or will very slowly return. I had it happen before but it was sorted under warranty but now out of warranty it is happening again. I am sure i could sort it myself but don't want to start trying untill i have an idea of what i will need to do (if you know what io mean).
Cheers
Bill

Been told by the dealer it is the linkage at the trottle body requiring cleaning, thats what they did last time. Does anyone know how easy it is to get to the linkage, and can anyone do a run through of what and how to remove stuff to get to it please.

Check the throttle tube and grips, making sure they're not rubbing against each other. If you can, loosen the throttle housing and remove the cables to check each cables are sliding fine. Follow the cables and you'll find the linkage.

He has a large heated garage and knows a bit about bikes so should not be a problem acording to him.
