What is this cable for in left side of handlebar?

I noticed this(unplugged) on the left side of my handlebar next to the switches.

I rode with both plugged in and off and didn't feel any difference.. I think

I believe it's the throttle assist
When you let out the clutch from a stop, there's a switch that increases the revs of the motor slightly
