Hello folks! New to the forum here, I ride a 18' gixxus 750 myself. I was wondering if any of you guys knew of any front fork options to upgrade OTHER than the matris full cartridges. However, if anyone has put the Matris F25 kit on their bikes, feel free to chime in. I'm looking to get full compression/rebound/preload adjustment out of whatever upgrade I end up doing, as my bike is dual purpose street/track until I find it necessary to get a track bike (or financially viable, even). Also, has anyone had any luck getting in contact with the gsxs.info guy recently for his adapter for a 08'+ R6 shock on our bikes? I'm getting to the point where I might just try to recreate his design if he doesn't get back to me

Is the stock suspension really that bad?

Is the stock suspension really that bad? It is. The rear shock is an emulsion type bargain basement shock with no rebound and the front end is very basic with only preload adjustments. I have an r6 rear shock to mount in as soon as I make the adapter, but I haven't seen anyone offer an upgrade for the front end yet.

He never supplied my adapter and I had to file a claim through paypal along with 15 other people. I plan to make my own as soon as I get some time. I have a stock take off and a late model low mile rear r6 shock at the house.

Surely the stock suspension is more than adequate for street riding? For track use I can definitely see the appeal but street?

I find the suspension very limiting on mine, but everyone is different. I guess it depends on the kind of riding you do. I am on my 3rd set of tires in 7k miles. The poor suspension leads to premature wear when riding quickly. Here in middle TN we have more corners than you could imagine and we like to ride 'em!

If I get my version of the bracket done before you, I'll just go ahead and post up the CAD files for everyone to use on their own. No use in trying to make a dime off of an "inspired" design. Do you hit the tail of the dragon often? I'm an hour out, in Knoxville. Hit me up if you come out this way!

So much amazing riding over there without having to deal with all the tourists and crashes. I do love to head to the highlands and down down into norther Georgia too.
