Hi All,
Its a reasonably nice day so I bought 1 gallon of gas and put it in the tank, hoping to start the bike up and let it get some fresh fuel through the carbs. Well, for some reason the bike won't start.
When the key is in the ignition, the bike is in natural and I pull the clutch in, everything seems fine but when I press the starter, nothing happens and the headlight goes out. Any idea on what's going on?
Thanks,
Mike

Dead battery or loose connection or there is a little corrosion built up on the terminals. Also these bikes don't have carburetors on them, they have throttle bodies. On a side note when it starts to get cold and you know you won't be riding the bike for a while, add a little fuel stabil to the tank the last time you ride it before you put it up as it will keep the gas fresh.
