Pretty much, yeah. And it made a big difference, the cat on these things looks terrible inside so it was worth the gamble of cutting it up to try something different. Sorry, I put on 150 miles over the weekend it was 75*

Hah I feel for ashesofanother, just finished slapping a new supermoto together in time to enjoy a high of 84 and a low of 66..... was sweatin' a lil in my mesh jacket! lol!

I'm looking to do a similar fix to the factory exhaust. Plan to core out the cat housing, replace the valve section with pipe, add slip on. Do you think you could have removed the cat guts if you cut at rear seam rather than cutting out the entire section?
