I got a Shad and it’s nice the pillion is kinda big and pokes me in the back I may put the stock pillion or a solo cowl on it other than that I’m satisfied

Will a gsxr seat work for the gsxs ? I wanted to go with a saddleman gel cover but only can find the gsxr covers , they look close I may can do a little tweaking just curious Suzuki just launched a softer aftermarket seat. Sat on it at the show yesterday. Huge improvement. Well recommended

On suzuki's website it is not listed for 2015-16 gsxs but is for the 2018. Hmmmm must be some subtle difference, i am out of luck again.

I contacted a company called luimoto (https://www.luimoto.com). They make seat covers mostly but have gel inserts and things like that. Unfortunately they don't offer anything for our bike but if someone is willing to send them a seat for about a month they can make a template and then start offering stuff. Perhaps if somebody already has the Shad seat they could offer up their stock seat for a little while. Or perhaps someone that doesn't ride for the winter. I ride my bike every week so I can't be without my seat for that long. But hey it's worth a shot.

That's kinda what i ran into when contacting corbin and sergant, but they told me just bring the seat to one of their locations and they could make a new seat off it. Price would vary.... I don't live near either company so that's a no for me.
I am still stuck as i am not ready to fork out $400 for something i haven't sat on or touched. Meaning i have sat on gsxr with a corbin seat so i have a idea of what it would feel like.

Cool keenan! That's very nice of you.
They have the GSX-S1000 seat cover for $150.00. I'm thinking that plus a gel insert would make a good combo and come in quite a bit less than the Shad. Personally I'm not interested in getting the passenger seat at this time so any way to save money would be good.

Well during my suzuki sv650 rebuild, i took the seat off and tried to fit it on my gsxs and it's a "no go" the mounting holes don't line up, but other than that it is the same size. So we can rule out the generation 2 suzuki sv650 seat. ha! I am still trying to find a cheaper seat than the $400 shad....
