Just ordered mine tonight! Your video has accelerated my learning. Thank you! I'm so ready to do this. Every bike that I've seen online that has removed the exhaust servo runs smoother and revs much quicker. I was even more convinced about doing this when I read that the primary changes to increase HP on the new 2017 GSXS included larger intake opening and a new exhaust without the servo valve. I'm in! I'll post a video afterward

So cool. Curious to see how far the stock tune can flex. Your bike sure sounded good!

All last week I tried getting a good sound clip while riding. I'll get one without wind soon.

What exactly does this do? Does the bike perform better?

It tricks the computer into thinking the exhaust servo is there and functioning correctly. This allows you to remove the servo. When the servo cables are disconnected from the valve it springs into the open position.
The 2018 version of our bike has eliminated this from it's exhaust. I have not been able to dyno my bike due to the unstable weather we've had in my area. I will tell you the bike is more responsive and is more enjoyable to ride.

If you take the bike to get a full exhaust most likely they will add at Servo Buddy module right? Just asking because if they are I rather just do it myself to cut the cost. Let them deal with just adding the headers and stuff.

They would need to do something to get past it in the ecu.

I found the bike to have a slight increase in responsiveness when doing this mod. The servo eliminator is for sure needed to Trick the ECU after the servo is removed. I also found it to be a decent amount of weight removal which is good for this bike.

Is it possible to just swap the plugs and leave the entire system installed? Would I get the same results? Just don't want to go through the hassle of removing it and want the option if I ever want to use it again
