that suprises me i thought it pulls way better at low rpm..you could not pull at 30mph in 6th gear right up to top speed before these mods without it feeling bogged down at low speeds i can now .i bet if you take it of you will know the difference more..but i do have the x-tri fitted to that i put a post about on here..maybe they work better together.and K&n filter. but i know this i would not go back to stock..if i had to i would probably sell the bike..but thats just my opinion..as all mods made the bike come alive for me! as the gixxer engine should do.
thats the thing putting my mods on make me want to ride it fast as the x-tri gives me more rpm in the first four gears up to 7000rpm before changing to the nexst gear and that gets you to the power band quicker..short shifting saves all the revving the engine out to get more rpm to get going in each gear to get the same performance as standard setup.. when you drop the throttle of with x-tri fitted the rpm stays there longer than stock where it drops off..and sounds better to a bit like engine braking.you have to try it to understand fully the performance difference..its not a miracle but it does change the bike set up for the better.

I guess that makes more sense in your case with the x-tri. I myself prefer to wind out each gear to 10k when I ride it hard. If I'm just cruising I'll just sit in 3rd gear and shift at about 3k. For me it's all go or no go based on what I've seen I definitely wouldn't want the x-tri setup.
